Nancy Deckant Passion and dedication are woven into everything Nancy Deckant has done throughout her 20-year career in the music industry. She is a music publisher and songwriter with two decades of invaluable music industry experience.

Her songwriting achievements include top 40 Billboard hits like "Princess" by Dallas Remington and "Hangin’ Moons" by Cody Clayton Eagle, amassing millions of streams, Trinity Wiseman’s “Little Too Late” and “Ghosting”, “Roots” by Jason Campbell and many more. Her song “We Are The Stars”, co-written with Anelda Spence, won the Independent International Songwriters Competition, Pop Category.

Nancy is the Founder and CEO of Discover Sooner.com a platform designed to facilitate connections between career-focused songwriters and publishers. Since its inception, the company has successfully introduced over a thousand songwriters to music industry professionals.

In her adopted hometown of Pittsburgh PA, Nancy was the Workshop Co-coordinator for the Pittsburgh Chapter of Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI). She moved to Nashville in 2013, wrote songs and gained experience as an independent song plugger for hit songwriters.
