Need A
songplugger?

Every songwriter needs direction. Usually a publisher fills the role of helping writers learn the tricks and avoid traps. They know how to make writing time more effective and give the kind of advice that makes songs more pitchable.

Like...did you know those great Brad Paisley tongue in cheek songs you love so much, that Brad will write them himself? No sense in going down that road...at least not for him! Or how about which artists are not a good bet to pitch to because they write nearly every song themself!

Plus, every publisher has a songplugger at their company who focuses on getting songs to the artists who need them.

Without this kind of help, no wonder it's so hard to get anywhere! That's why we formed the Row Call Writers Group.

OurGoal

Give unsigned songwriters the same advantage that writers with a publisher have...

  1. A songplugger to pitch your songs

  2. A monthly pitch sheet to know what artists are looking for songs

  3. Sync briefs on current tv/film opportunities as available

  4. Feedback to make your song more cutable

  5. HELP TO GET YOUR SONGS CUT!

howItWorks

Each month you'll received a pitch sheet and have a group meeting online with your songplugger to play your songs, and get feedback from pitching songs the prior month.

Play up to 2 songs (phone memos or demos) and your songplugger will give you live feedback along with a "Pitch", "Pass" or "Listen Again" decision.

When your songplugger decides to represent your song, it's signed under a non-exclusive co-pub, single-song publishing and administration agreement.

FAQs

Once I apply what happens?

We send your info to the publisher. Once you are approved, we'll add you to the zoom invite and show you how to submit your song each month.

Can I play voice memos for the publisher or does it have to be a demo?

Getting feedback before recording the song is a smart move. Anything you want to play is fine. Just make sure the lyrics are available.

What is the cancellation policy?

To cancel, simply notify us, and we'll cancel future payments on your subscription. Please note that refunds are not available.

What if I can't make it to one of the scheduled meetings?

If you're unable to attend a scheduled meeting, just submit your song as usual. We'll provide feedback via video. However, if you fail to submit your song by the meeting, you forfeit that opportunity.

What happens if I don't have a song to play at the meeting?

Row Call is for writers focusing on their songwriting who typically have plenty of songs to work on. We understand this program may not fit into everyone's needs and can explore alternative mentoring opportunities if you do not have enough songs to play.

Can I share a subscription with another songwriters?

No.
