He has an impressive 60-year career in the music industry. He has worked as a songwriter, arranger, musician, and teacher, and he is also a music publisher.

Throughout his career, Bob has had more than 2450 songs recorded worldwide. He has achieved significant milestones, including a Gold Record in Denmark for Ann Taylor and a Platinum Record in Greece for Hi-5. He also had the #1 Jazz Album on iTunes and reached the top charts in the UK and Canada with Sophie Milman. Bob's musical background includes touring nationally as a trumpet player, writer, and arranger with MEDUSA in the early 70s. From 1995 to 2003, he served as a writer, horn player, and arranger for the well-known swing band BadaBing BadaBoom.

He holds a B.S. in Music Education and has a Master's Equivalent degree from Indiana University, Pennsylvania. With 27 years of teaching experience in both public and private schools, Bob has served as a Marching and Concert Band Director, Musical Director, Choral Director, and classroom instructor. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor at Nashville State Community College, where he teaches courses on Intro and Advanced Music Publishing, Intro and Advanced Songwriting, Fundamentals of Music Theory, and the Business of Music.
